Valencia: Day 3

Sorry for the delay but here's Day 3!! ^^

On our third day in Valencia, we went back to the City of Arts and Sciences, and spent the day in Europe's largest aquarium :P We originally planned to visit the IMAX cinema as well, but time restrictions meant that we didn't get the chance to.

We took the Metro (one stop) and then walked the rest of the way to the 'City'. I don't think I mentioned in my last post, but that walk was LONG! We were so gutted when we discovered on our final day that the station we got off at was really near the town centre -_- could've saved some money *sigh*

As it was our second day of walking the long distance to the 'City', we decided to walk through the famous Turia Gardens rather than alongside it like we had done yesterday..

We walked past the Palau de la Musica, and decided to take jumping photos in front of the fountains :P Here's one where I look like I grew a beard ;) haha

Welcome to the Oceanografic!! (and picture spammage!)

There's tonnes more that I took inside the aquarium but I bet you've had enough by now, so mooooving on... :)

On our way back, we found rows and rows of orange trees :P Valencia isn't only just famous for paella.. it's famous for oranges too! I gave Chu a piggy back and she picked an orange off the tree :P She had it on our last day.. and she said it was VERY sour XD

For dinner we went to a local restaurant and had tapas..

We went for dessert after dinner at an ice cream parlour that we'd walked past every morning and were desperate to try :P It claimed to have 365 flavours on shop window display.. I didn't count but I don't think there were.. but they did have the strangest flavours!!

Ultimate pig out... ><

We chilled in the Main Square on a bench, and then we eventually went back to the hotel.. I think we watched Chalet Girl that night as well on the hotel laptop :P It was such a long and tiring day but still a whole load of fun :D I really recommend visiting the City of Arts and Sciences if you visit Valencia :)

By the way guys, I'm flying to Hong Kong in a few days, so if you've got any good places for shopping and eating in HK, please leave me your suggestions :D I'm really craving some good Japanese food! :P (This also means that my blog will be blank for roughly the next 3 and a bit weeks >< I apologise in advance!)

Hope you've all been well!!

Priscilla, Xx

  1. Wow, that must be the biggest ice cream cone I've ever seen O.O uhm, there's one ice cream flavour called celulitis, made me lol

Oooh the animals <3 I love the pictures of the jellyfish, they're so cool >< I still can't believe how beautiful it is there. I HAVE to go visit Valencia, eventhough I always say I've had enough of Spain for the next couple of years (I don't do well in the heat). It's all so pretty!
